Factory & quality control
Moso bamboo (Phyllostachys pubescens) sourced from managed groves in Fujian and Anhui, 3+ year maturity, kiln-dried to 8–12% moisture before processing. Pressing, sanding and oil finishing are done in-house; assembly and packing are audited per order.
What that means for an importer: stable moisture (fewer cracks in Brazil’s dry winter), consistent glue lines, and a photo report of the actual batch before it ships.
Material discipline
3+ year culms only
Young bamboo is soft and sugars leak. We buy 3+ year culms with documented grove rotation, pressed into panels we can re-order to the same spec.
Kiln-dried to 8–12%
Moisture is measured at three points: after kiln, after machining, before packing. Out-of-range batches are re-dried, not shipped.
Food-contact oils, batch-traced
Mineral and wax finishes come with a batch certificate each order, so your food-contact declaration matches the batch that shipped.
Inspection checkpoints
| Incoming material | Maturity, moisture, panel density, glue lot number |
|---|---|
| After machining | Dimensional tolerance ±0.5 mm, sanding grade, crack/void scan |
| After finishing | Oil coverage uniformity, food-contact oil batch match, print/engraving sharpness |
| Pre-packing | Assembly torque for hardware, drop test on retail carton (ISTA-style, 1.0 m) |
| Pre-shipment | Piece count vs packing list, carton drop zones marked, photo report sent to buyer |
Factory audit report, machine list and line photos are available on request during the quotation stage — ask in the quote form and they ship with the reply. Third-party inspection (SGS/BV/TÜV) is welcome at buyer’s cost; we schedule the window and provide the hall access.
